''Pavlovo-Posadskiye izvestiya'' ((ロシア語:Павлово-Посадские известия)) is a regional weekly newspaper based in Pavlovsky Posad. The newspaper is considered to be one of the oldest in the region and was founded in July 1919. Since March 2005 the newspaper has been issued by the state institution of Moscow Oblast, The News Agency Of Pavlovsky Posad District. The goal of the agency is to inform the population about the activities of public authorities of Moscow Oblast and local government municipalities, providing the society with authentic and trustful information in various spheres of life. Chief Editor - Krasova Elena. == History== The original name of the newspaper at its founding was Pavlovskiye Izvestiya. Since this time the name has been changed on several occasions (Udarnik, 1934, Leninskaya Iskra, 1950s, Znamya Lenina, 1961), until in 1999 it became officially known as Pavlovo-Posadskiye izvestiya. In 2005 the editorial office was reorganized and transformed into the state institution of Moscow Oblast, The News Agency Of Pavlovsky Posad District. In 2014 the newspaper celebrated its 95th anniversary. On July 31 of this year, a special evening dedicated to the anniversary was held in the House of Shirokov exhibition hall. In attendance were journalists, correspondents, and previous editors of Pavlovo-Posadskiye izvestiya.
